We have been with BB for 2.5 years and have been working with Stephanie the entire time, and we absolutely love her! She’s an incredible occupational therapist and has been a huge support for us. My kid loves going to sessions because Stephanie truly is the best!

We love Ms. Shauna (OT), Ms. Brittany M. (ST in Lehi), Ms. Brittany H. (ST in Saratoga Springs), Ms. Laura, and front desk Ms. Sydney and Ms. Kaitlyn. The breaking barriers team has been so wonderful helping my son with his speech, fine motor skill, and executive functioning delays. They’ve been really flexible helping us schedule when we need, building practice activities that my son is excited for, sending home homework for us (thank you Brittany M., we especially love that), and they have a spacious, clean waiting room where my other kids have been welcome with magnatiles and coloring pages to keep them content while waiting through sessions. We’re very grateful for the services and people at Breaking Barriers! We haven’t found anywhere else like it!

We have been using their speech and OT therapy for about a year, and I can’t stay enough good things! Miranda (speech) and Stephanie (OT) are both amazing. They honestly care about the improvement of my kiddo (a teenager). They are honest when honesty is needed, but always speak that honesty kindly and from a place of love. Stephanie has gone to bat for us when we needed it. Seriously, such a great group of therapists!

I have absolutely loved my experience working with my son’s OT therapist Shawna she’s been so amazing and oh so helpful and supportive from the start and my son has already made progress because of her! She’s truly is the best!

2 of my daughters have come for Occupational Therapy at Breaking Barriers. They have seen Shannon, Stephanie, and Sage. All of them have been fantastic! They have made my girls feel comfortable and seen, and increased my own knowledge and confidence in helping them. They have provided me with additional resources, I didn’t even know existed. They are excited to collaborate with me and give me practical ideas on how to work together to help my girls reach their potential! I have loved watching the other areas that Breaking Barriers offers: speech, admin, and ABA as they kindly help families navigate the world of therapy. I’ve seen kids laugh, play, and learn new skills, parents feel supported and informed, and therapists gently guide and help children navigate their emotions and learn to find their voice. The billing/insurance team was very helpful and transparent with providing me information related to my out of pocket costs. This is above and beyond as I know every insurance plan coverage is different and they worked to assist me in navigating that without me even having to ask! 5 stars is not enough!

Breaking Barriers has done wonders for my son (2.5)! He’s has a speech delay and possible neurodivergency, and he’s been able to communicate so much better after only a month of Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy! Brittany, Miranda, Sage, Shawna, and the others have been wonderful!

My son has made so much progress with Breaking Barriers. The staff is incredible and my son looks forward to going every time. So grateful for this place! Kellen and Cheyanne have been especially great with our son. Can’t say enough good things about Breaking Barriers!

Britney Manning SLP is an amazing speech pathologist and helped my 2 year old thrive and then graduate from speech. She was so friendly and incredibly caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her!

Bringing our 3 year old here a year ago was the best decision we’ve ever made! We couldn’t understand what she was saying, which was frustrating for both parties. And honestly, it wasn’t safe because she couldn’t tell us if she was in trouble or needed help! I am so incredibly thankful for Ms. Britney and her hard work and dedication to my daughter. After a year of working with her, and with us practicing at home, she is where she is supposed to be! I definitely recommend Breaking Barriers to anyone considering getting speech services for their child.

Laura Adamson has been an amazing speech therapist for my daughter. She helped her work through a tongue thrust program, build better eating habits, and greatly reduce her stuttering. The progress my daughter’s made is incredible, and Laura’s kindness and expertise have made all the difference. Highly recommend!

My son loves his OT Sage! She has helped him so much and still made it playful and fun so that he has fun while learning. Been coming once a week for a few months and the experience has been seamless

We have been going to Breaking Barriers for a few months now to help my 7 year old with his speech. We’ve mainly been seeing Miranda & Laura, and they are so good with helping him learn the technical side of his R’s, and how to implement it in daily, normal use. He’s really shy and they’ve gotten him out of his shell, and he is improving so much, so fast. It’s been such a great experience so far and I’m so grateful this is available to him!! They are fun, kind, patient, and competent. They provide other services too, like occupational therapy, ABA therapy, etc. and I’d feel comfortable bringing my kiddos here for anything else, based off how it’s gone for speech.

Breaking Barriers Therapy Services has been so great for our family. The therapists are kind, supportive, and truly care about helping kids succeed. Laura with speech and Shawna with OT have both been amazing! What I appreciate most is how personalized the care feels. They take the time to really understand each child’s needs and take interest in their interests. We’re so grateful for their help and highly recommend Breaking Barriers :)

The billing department here is fantastic! Ty especially goes above and beyond to make sure families feel supported. They’ve turned what used to be a frustrating part of the process into something simple and smooth. I’m so grateful for the attention and professionalism they provide.

This whole facility is awesome. Every single therapist I’ve worked with has been great! But Miranda is MY GIRL and just wanted to make a shout out to her! I can tell how much she cares about my little boy and she’s always doing research to help him even more with his uncommon speech apraxia diagnosis.

I have enjoyed my time with Breaking Barriers and wanted to give a huge shout out to the Speech team! Laura, Miranda, Anna, Ally, Brittney, and Brenda all do such an incredible job at attending to their clients and helping them improve!

We loved our experience with Breaking Barriers! Laura did such a phenomenal job helping our 3 year-old son, and he improved so much in his speech. He went from having a hard time being understood (even by us) to being able to articulate and pronounce his words so well. Laura is the best, and we are so grateful to her!! Also, our son still talks about her and had so much fun playing and learning with her.

We have loved working with Breaking Barriers Therapy! My daughter was diagnosed with a speech delay, and we have been working with Anna the last six months. Anna has been incredibly kind and helpful. My daughter loved going so much she would excitedly chant “Anna!” on our drives to speech. I appreciated receiving ideas and strategies of how to help encourage my daughter’s speech development at home, too.

My daughter has been seeing Laura Adamson for the past year. We have had a wonderful experience. Laura has helped motivate and encourage her to improve her speech. Laura makes the session so fun, as well as productive. She helped my daughter go from speech delayed to with in normal limits. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone that has a child with speech delays.

We have brought our child here for therapy for almost 2 years now. We have loved watching our child make progress and growth here. Miranda is an outstanding therapist who has been instrumental in our child’s growth. She has helped tremendously. Stephanie the OT has also been very helpful in our child’s growth too. Shout out to these ladies who do amazing work and a big thank you to the staff who has made us feel welcome here.

Tahani was very easy to speak with and was helpful in making my appointments. Eric is our OT instructor and I have seen a lot of improvements in my son under Eric’s care.

We love Breaking Barriers! I have recommended their services to many others! We’ve had a couple Occupational Therapists and love each one with BBTS! We especially love Ms. Courtney! She is so much fun and does so well working with each concern and need of our daughter. She takes her time to explain things in a way that will resonate with my child and apply to her current likes and interests. It is truly a custom experience and not one size or plan fits all. As a parent I especially love that she discusses tools and skills for me to use at home and continue the work to meet our goals! Also the gym and tools used at this facility are amazing! So clean, we just love it here.

Our son’s speech has improved by leaps and bounds since starting speech therapy with Erin Christensen. The whole team is amazing to work with!

Our daughter has been coming to breaking barriers for about 6 months for OT. She sees Stephanie and she is amazing with her. Their relationship has grown and she really has helped her. Our daughter loves Stephanie and I couldn’t recommend her enough!!

We have been going to breaking barriers for speech and I am very impressed with my sons progress and he loves Paige so much. She makes speech so much fun for him. He’s always excited to go.

My son attends Speech and OT. He’s been going for a few months now and has thrived! After a week of going, my son was able to become comfortable and trust his speech and OT specialists. He looks forward to going every time. Mr Eric, and Miss Laura takes time to focus on my son and his well being. As well as taking time to get to know him. They know when he’s feeling overwhelmed or frustrated and are able to work with his frustrations through his sessions. My son talks about them all the time. We absolutely love this place and can not recommend it more!
