We cannot say enough good things about Ysa! She has been absolutely amazing with our son. Her patience, expertise, and genuine care have made such a difference in his progress and our daily lives. If you are looking for an OT who truly ‘gets’ kids and works from the heart, Ysa is the best!

Our almost 5 year old daughter has severe life altering disabilities and finding a speech provider that truly believes she will accomplish great things has been difficult. Until about 2 years ago when Breaking Barriers was recommended to us. After the first evaluation we knew the employees really cared about the kids and believed in their abilities. Ally has been the most incredible therapist to work with our sweet little girl Lemon and we are so grateful. Most speech therapists are more familiar with AAC devices for children with speech difficulties but it is less common to find a provider that is willing to learn the ins and out of eye gaze AAC which Ally has done incredibly. She comes up with the best activities for Lemon and never minds when Lemon comes in with her own agenda. Truthfully, Breaking Barriers is not designed for children like Lemon but that has not stopped them from providing immaculate speech therapy for our daughter. Finding a therapist who cheers your child on just as you would is such a valuable experience for client, therapist and family. Lemon has tried different speech therapists in the past but the consistency in sessions and determination of the therapy team at Breaking Barriers are a huge reason Lemon continues to make progress on her goals. To all of Breaking Barriers staff and especially Ally we are so grateful to have you be apart of Team Lemon 🍋!

We have had a terrific experience with Speech and OT here! Our son has thrived with Ally in learning conversation and social skills. I could not be happier or more grateful for the work she does to help him understand the minutiae of interactions that dont come naturally to him. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough of an OT budget to get those services very long, but while we did, we had a wonderful time with Isa!

The experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I stepped in, I felt supported—not just seen, but truly understood. There was a softness in the way the therapists listened, a strength in how they guided, and a genuine warmth that made the entire space feel like home.

The facility is amazing and has helped my son learn speech while he plays in the big gym. His therapist Laura has gone above and beyond helping him learn every week. Some days are harder than others because it’s early and my son is tired but all her love and patience has helped my son grow a lot in speech and other activities with kids his age.

Laura is the BEST speech therapist to work with. If you are lucky enough to get on her schedule, you won’t regret it!

She is absolutely wonderful, she is not only very loving and kind, But she is an incredible therapist! Our son is improving so much thanks to these sessions of therapy and not only does she work so well with him, but has also helped my husband and I to be able to be better teachers! I am so grateful for this wonderful place. We have been on many waitlists for an autism evaluation for my daughter and when Breaking Barriers added Dr. T to their staff we jumped at the opportunity to get more answers for our little one. Sydney with scheduling was amazing and thorough. Ally (SLP) did our Speech eval and was so understanding and made my daughter feel comfortable. Dr. T was personable, thorough, engaging and gave me so many insights into my daughter. Ty (Manager) walked me through the process and the steps involved so that I knew what to expect. While I waited during some of the eval I got to observe the great work that the BCBAs and RBTs were doing. The kids were happy, knew what to expect, and were having fun being creative and social. Overall 5 stars for this Clinic!
